I have always loved the idea of puzzles but have never been very good at them. Both Crossword and Jig-Saw. My maternal grandmother was an awesome jig-saw puzzle person. Oh my she was good and I always remember a card table set up in her living room with the new puzzle displayed. I would try and help her and she was always kind about my inability to find the proper puzzle piece to fit in that space. I just liked being around her. She and my grandfather would often go to the Homestead and while he was playing golf she would be down in the puzzle room solving every puzzle they had. Apparently she had quite the reputation there. My father and both his parents and 2 uncles would all do the Sunday NY Times puzzle. They would trade words with each other over the phone trying to solve the week's puzzles. I love that Jeanne loves her puzzles just don't ask me to help!!!

I love this Jeanne! I too, start my day with a latte and games. . . first the Mini, then Connections, then the Wordle. I was invited to join a Wordle group started by my college roommate's husband's family. It consists of my roommate's family and her sister-in-law's family. . . 15 in all. One of our participants lives in London, so we enter our scores on What's App every day. The person who has the best score of the day gets to choose the starting word for the next day, and if there is a tie, the person who has gone the longest without choosing gets the honor. My friend's husband is The Commissioner, and he releases all the statistics at the end of each month. A new community of puzzle lovers, and an extra edge of competition each day! Hunter and Spenser and I had a thrilling RumiKub tournament over Christmas, and I have another group of friends that meet often to play Qwirkle. I can recommend them both wholeheartedly!! Keep playing!

Loved reading this because I have never done puzzles and feel my brain is just ill equipped. But like how much fun they are for you 🤗 Anna

I too enjoy playing Wordle and Connections and doing the NYT Mini each day. I also like Waffle. For me, Connections is the most challenging - many times I don’t have a clue and would never make the connection. 😊
