That photo is my grandmother and grandfather. Her name was Carrie and many people called me “little Carrie” when I was growing up.

Beautifully described how generations in your family have dedicated their lives to the USA. Educational too. Most of us need to be reminded of the 3 different days for military recognition.

Thank you… my Dad was a Marine and served in WWII and Korean War…( Guatacanal and Chosin Reservoir) would never talk about it
