Thank you, Jeanne. I never knew that you were called when you were young "little Carrie"! Always something new to learn about the people in our lives. Sending love, Carrie
This is a beautiful and heartfelt story of not only your dear family but so many others who have lived this journey. You give it that special touch and I love your photos. Thank you for sharing and reminding us what Memorial Day truly means.
Beautifully described how generations in your family have dedicated their lives to the USA. Educational too. Most of us need to be reminded of the 3 different days for military recognition.
Thank you for sharing your stories. Love the photos too. You on the tricycle and as a baby are so wonderful The passage about you hiding under the table til your dad comes home is so poignant and timeless. Love to you & your family. 🙏💕
Your touching words have brought to life those who have died for their country and ours. May we dedicate ourselves to preserving this country during these perilous times at home.
Very moving, Jeanne. Thank you. ❤️

Beautiful sermon. Thank you. Is that your great-grandmother in the first photo? You are the spittin' image!
That photo is my grandmother and grandfather. Her name was Carrie and many people called me “little Carrie” when I was growing up.

Your words so beautifully honor the brave souls who sacrificed their lives and those who returned. The photos say so much. Thank you, Jeanne 🙏
This made me cry when you preached it and now again when I read it again. Thanks for your words and for the service your family gave to our country.
