I was at the beach a few years ago and headed out to walk the dog just before sunrise. It was very bright, but the sun wasn't up yet! It turned out to be a full moon setting over the marsh. An amazing site!!
I love our popcorn ceilings and am not sure why they have fallen out of favor. I too love looking at the sunsets from our apartment but am never up early enough for a sunrise any longer!
When I look up at our ceiling I see a modified popcorn. Not smooth, not “pointy”, it looks like it was white paint covering an earlier coat of paint only partially scraped. Hard to describe. I love looking at a sunset that goes from blue to white, then down. Probably erroneously I fear these orange and red sunsets are a result of sunlight reflecting off air pollution. A very Debbie Downer perception. 😿 As I close in on my 8th decade of life, I am grateful for any sunset I see!❤️
