The best socks I ever had was from a small downtown store in Asheville. Long gone and so are the socks. But I will not forget how happy they made me every time I wore them. They were a mix of wool? and cashmere. Made feel extremely well cared for!

I’m a Wirecutter devotee. I won’t make an important purchase without first consulting the Wirecutter. I like that nothing is too mundane for them to review. Recently it was peanut butter. I was relieved to see their first choice was Teddy’s (I already had 4 jars in the pantry).

Also, if you want a beautiful and well made bag, you should call Spenser Hallmark! You can tell him the color and the style you want and he'll fix you up!! https://www.instagram.com/s.hallmarkleather/

Oh my stars! I'm beginning to think we are long lost sisters!! I too am a Wirecutter junkie. My most recent finds are Parrish Magic Line Cake Pans (yes, I had to order some new ones last month!!), Salux Nylon Japanese Beauty Skin Bath Wash Cloth/towels (simply the most wonderful things to use in the shower!) and a F700 Toro PowerJet 140 MPH 12 Amp Electric Handheld Leaf Blower, (a leaf blower with a cord because all I want to blow off are my front stoop and back patio). I too read reviews for things I have no interest in whatsoever. Sadly, I occasionally develop a desire for those things, and then have to buy them!!

Hmmm I too love well made things and my list would include but not be limited to Stressless Chairs (which are nation wide) and locally, The Colton Mattress Company right here in Asheville. I would also include any Apple Product and true handmade crafts. Thanks jeanne for another great read.
